Mr.&Mrs.Tamburello, I just want to say that I was devastated to hear what happened to Vinnie. He was a special person in my life when we were kids, my first huge crush and he always had me in stitches. When I was 12 I ran away to my cousins house who lived in New Hampshire, Vinnie would call me almost every night and we would talk for a while (I could only imagine ur bill) we would take turns calling eachother trying not to run Up the bill! He helped me so much through that time with his way of making me Feel important at a time When I felt like I had no one! I came home at the end of that summer to find Vinnie waiting for me in my backyard with that gorgeous smile! Iam so Sorry for all the pain you all have had to go through, its bad enough he was robbed of his life But then to have his murders to be defended was a kick in the stomach also! I wish I could have done something for him, the last time I seen him was down on storrow drive at a city event and he was having a hard time then and refused to come home with me Because I was married With a son. My husband knew Vinnie also so it wouldn't have been a problem but he kept saying he was goin home to you guys or Delight. I Wish I tried harder. He was awesome!! I Hope in the years to come the pain gets a lil bit better and this is taken care of so he could rest in peace!! Once again a great life was taken to short and we were robbed of him too! Good luck in Your fight! Take care of eachother!!!!

To the family of Vinnie, I was going through certain petitions on Change.org and saw your sons story. You have my deepest sympathy for the injustice in his case! There are two things you can be sure of. 1)This man OR SCUMBAG rather, WILL ANSWER FOR HIS EVIL WAYS whether it is in this life or when his maker confronts him in the next!!!! And 2) your son is where there is no sorrow, pain or ugliness. Please take comfort in that if nothing else. Karma is the grandest bitch of them all and this man Sands will find out that whatever you put out there in this world, ALWAYS COMES BACK TO YOU TRIPLE FOLD!!! GOD Bless you and keep you

Vinnie, Ronnie, Chris, Jason, and Vanessa. My heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to you all. I am shocked beyond words of all that has transpired since last our paths have crossed. I never would have known if Eric hadn't posted something about this on his page. It took me two days (I had grandkids here so could only read this when I had a few hours of peace and quiet)to actually read it all and try to comprehend it. It's a total lack of injustice, on all counts. We were taught at an early age, and in turn have taught our children, to trust the system. Trust the people that are knowledgeable and trained and have years of experience dealing with the system to do what is right, and to protect us. It is unfathomable that those we are taught to trust could be so cold, callous, and corrupt. It is shameful, and my heart breaks for you all. I regret never having met Lil Vinnie, although you had spoken of him a few times, always with a smile and a laugh at relating different things he had done. If he was anything like Chris, Jason, or Vanessa, he must have been one hell of a kid! He was lucky to have you as his parents, it's as if God knew that someday he would need somebody with your strength, perseverance, courage, and dedication to stand up and speak for him when nobody else would. I've always admired and respected that about you all, your devotion to each other and your love for family. If there is ever anything you would need my help with, please do not hesitate to ask, I'm more than willing to help in any little way possible. Again, my deepest condolences to you all. Cindy Chase

From my perspective this post is long overdue. I do not ever post, comment, etc as it is just not my nature. So why post now? To be honest, I have no idea but as I read the posts and viewed this entire website I thought that my feelings of what I know about Big Vinny should be written. The Dad: Simply put, Vinny was always a hero in my mind. I always inspired to be like him even to this day. Honest, Hardworking, Compassionate, Dedicated, Loyal, and many more adjectives that could be used to describe him. But these words are not only for how he is with his family but with every person that has been in his company. He has overcome so many obstacles in his life to be the man he is today and will always be. Vinny, you will never know who wrote this because there are many people that feel this way about you so process of elimination is impossible. I for one and thankful for you being in my life but there are many, many more! Stay Strong! You are the victorius one in the heart of many people!

I was shown this site by some friends. Although I've heard about the case I've never seen the site. I've got to say I'm absolutely shocked and disgusted with the actions of our justice system. I heard about the conduct of Sand and Sorrell but never really took much stock in it until I heard the tape of Sand telling of Sorrell's involvement! It really hits home hearing it right from Sand's own voice. What amazes me is how they don;t care what we think about them! If they did they would do what's right. It's hard to believe how corrupt our attorney general and Sand and Maguire are. It sickens me. I'm very sorry for what you and your family are going through. I hope this all ends for you soon.

I just want to say Mr. Tamburello, that I'm very sorry for your loss and I think you've been extremely reasonable throughout this traumatic experience. I know this probably won't mean much to you, I can't think of anything worse than losing a child. I lost my father at a young age and it was very difficult for me, but I was lucky to have a great family to support me through this. You still have family that loves you, so when you're feeling angry about the way your son's justice has been handled, try to remember the people in your life that love and support you. This helped me through some of the roughest parts of my life. Once again I'm very sorry for you loss.

Mr. Tamburello, what an inspiration you are to the world! You show class, respect and compassion for slimy, vile people like that lady who jerked you around for a year for your son's sake. I thought I was hallucinating when I read your sleeping with the devil post. I am simply lost for words to describe my shock for what the attorneys, representatives of the law, nonetheless, have treated you. Vermont Attorney, First you praise them then you call them corrupt! And say they will always be corrupt, to get used to it! Is that what you have done? Gotten used to the corruption and misconduct so you ignore it and let them do whatever they want to you and the people of Vermont? If you are a Vermont Attorney as you say you are, you should be ashamed of your self and your profession! I speak and have written the truth, if I haven't then let them challenge me! Let them publicly confront me once and for all. Let them explain to me and the people that what they've done and continue to do is in the interest of justice. Let them face me and the people, but they can't and won't! Because what I've said is the truth. They are corrupt and believe they are above the law. They will never be able to prove otherwise. They think they can run and hide behind their office. They can't because I'll always be there! They can't hide forever. John Lavoie supports Sand, Sorrell and Maguire otherwise as he is bound by attorney ethical precepts to report violations of the rules of professional responsibility. Now the truth, Lavoie was charging with throwing vinnie's family a bone with the hope that they would go away wagging their tails. It worked for a while. Now Lavoie and his government attorney friends will blow off vinnie's murder. Vermont justice, get used to it.

Sorrell and Sand have been elected by the people of vermont as top notch lawyers and compassionate human beings. Maguire too has the praise of all of the people of vermont. Their decisions are flawless as is Vermont judges and John Lavoie. If the honorable Lavoie thought others should have been prosecuted, they would be facing charges right now. Vermont government lawyers and judges are the height of fair play and propriety.

Wow Vinnie and Ronnie. I just listened to your taping of Sand and his treats to yous. He is a scumbag from day 1. I'm so glad you got him on tape as I think it is great that everyone can hear it for themselves and finally understand what yous have been saying about sand is true. Sand is so corrupt and should of been fired a long time ago. I hope that sometime in the future you will write a book on Lil Vinnie and the corruption in their system Vermont. I really have to tell yous, I don't know how you ever did this along with everything yous have been through. Yous are amazing. May God Bless your family and may Little Vinnie Rest in Peace.

Mr. Tamburello. Your tape of Robert Sand is incredible! I can't belive someone of his position would actually threaten you like he did. I must admit that was a good move putting that tape on your site. There is no doubt now what a corrupt official he is. What amazes me even more is the Attorney general's office being involved in everything. They can't deny it. It's in Sand's own words. I hope this shows people up here that it's time for change. I won't be voting for Sorrell and I know a lot of other people that has changed their minds about him. Thank you for putting that on your site. I've followed your incredible story from the beginning and your resolve and dedication to your son is amazing. I heard about your site for a while (I’m an avid fan of your son on the challenges) and finally got a chance to check it out. I am amazed at your site, disgusted by what happened to Vinnie and the initial process of the case and pleased someone finally took this murder to justice. The thought of loosing my son easily brings me to tears and to hear about how you lost your Vinnie makes me fearful of this world even more. It’s maddening to hear of those in authority and power who use that authority and power in abusive, self-righteous ways. I also know that there are those who handle it well and appropriately and often get overshadowed by the bad ones. Thank God you were guided by your strong will to come into contact with some of those good ones to do the right thing. In regards to David Cahill, I am not sure who exactly he thinks he is commenting on your site, especially in such a manner. I also work for a government agency and there would be no hesitancy in loosing my job if I conducted myself in such a manner. I just wonder where some people’s ethics are! I pray that you and your family are finding peace and having a lot of laughs with each other over all of the great times with Vinnie. Thank you for sharing your story!

it is just for a short time that i heard what happenned to vinnie ;i am from an other contry so the news came to me a little bit late ;but what i want to say to you is that in all over the world there are a lot of sad stories ; like realy a lot .. ; stories that are worst ; less ; or just like what happend to your dear son ; but what's different in Vinnie's story is that he has a beautiful strong family that cares about him; cares about the justice; cares about Vinnies justice;even if he is gone. you didn't give up because you loved your son and you are still loving him ; and im sure that he loves you very well . you're son's story had touched me very well even that i don't know him in any way i atually cried when i was reading those pages ; every human being will cry ..... ; and what touched me even more is how you wrote those pages as broken broken broken broken father ; so plz let me just say that i m terribly sorry about what happend with you and tell you that the world would be a better place with people and fighters for the good like you ;people who have a heart and ready to what ever it takes for their children ;you remind us of what our parents are ready to do for us ; and what we mean to them . it's been a time now;;; but i don't think that it was enough to help you forget your son ; maybe time helpes to minimize the pain but it will never take of the memory of your mind so let it be a good memory then just all the good things about your son .
