I was in school with Chris and Mel and would hear stories about the Charlestown days, I could tell how much they cared for him, It saddens me to hear what happened to Vinny, and that feeling has turned to rage as justice has not been served, I hope with the new trial he will be convicted of 2nd degree murder.

You're right Jack. Many officials use that secrecy to their advantage, not for justice. As they say, "You can indict a ham sandwich in a Grand Jury". Unfortunately some of them regard a human life lower than a ham sandwich. What makes it so bad is they answer to no one. Because the Grand Jury proceedings are secret they can do what they want without answering to anyone for their actions. No one sees what goes on behind closed doors. That's what makes my case so different. I have the Grand Jury minutes. I can prove District Attorney Sand misused the Grand Jury. I hope to use this as a way to show that there has to be some accountability. Without accountability there will always be someone to abuse their powers of office and there will always be a mistrust by the American people of their justice system. And there will always be dishonest district Attorneys, like Robert Sand, to betray that trust.

Vin Sr. I don't know if you are following the death of the young shot by police officers. the grand jury in that case failed to find fault with the officers though there were many different accounts. Most saying the boy was just moving his car as directed by the polioe and then was allowed to bleed to death on the sidewalk. I couldn't understand how that was presented to show that one sided testimony. But after reading your case and how that district attorney in Vermont manipulated the grand jury in your case makes sense now why they keep them private. So they can do whatever they want and present the evidence as they see fit, regardless of the truth! This is a disgrace to the American justice system!

Thank you anonymous. These tips are very helpful. It also shows the concern from citizens of the lawlessness in Vermont. The outpouring of help has really helped immensely in preparing the case against Bolaski. It is very distressful to see the hold Bolaski has on the judiciary. Do they really believe that they are above the law? Bolaski is going away for life, no matter how much they try to protect him. Then justice will visit Sand and those that aided him. And it is with the courage of citizens like yourself that will make it possible. Thank you and everyone that like you has the courage to do the right thing and make a stand.

Vin Sr. my son told me that Kyle was bragging that he was arrested again, not long after his drug arrest with shooting and possession of a firearm and drug possession. But he said they never charged him! Kyle was bragging that he has them by the balls! You should have your lawyer check into this! If this is true then there is something very seriously wrong here! Anyone else would be in jail by now! What does Bolaski have on Sand? Was Sand paid off? If what you say is true about giving this new prosecutor evidence you have collected implicating more people, Why has no one else been charged with anything? Are you going to put this evidence on your site? I hope so. I know there is a lot of people that is dying to see the truth. Good luck in your fight!

As long as Attorney General Sorrell protects these corrupt lawmakers and allows this corruption to continue, then nothing will change. But since he is as corrupt, corrupt enough to allow murder to happen and then hide it what can you expect from his underlings?

Joe, You're right. What a scam. What Sand said doesn't make sense because the officer admits there were no bruises. The man was not arrested until the complaint against the police 2 weeks later. Even if the man did what they said it should not overshadow what the officer did which was far worse. This woman was hospitalized due to the officer, not her boyfriend. I hope they follow up on the complaint and don't let it go. The judiciary will just drag it out until the people give up.

Windsor County State's Attorney Robert Sand, who is prosecuting the case against Kucera, dismissed any suggestion that police were pursuing Kucera to hide their own troubles.

My mother was killed by a drunk driver and went free because the officer that answered the phone never said it was a recorded line and the confession on the tape was thrown out. He then went three days later WITH his lawyer to report his van stolen! This was back in 1988...Hope you have better luck. My prayers are with you and your family.
